WELCOME to the Women's Business Network (WBN) of Southeastern Massachusetts!

The purpose of WBN is to offer networking opportunities, and inspire, educate, and motivate women to be the best they can be in their business and personal lives.

We facilitate this by meeting monthly from September to June in Mansfield, MA. Our meetings focus on building relationships and contacts, on sharing referrals and acknowledgments, and on offering support and encouragement.

Meeting Specifics: We meet on the second Tuesday of each month, September through June, at the Harbor One Credit Union, 131 Copeland Drive, Mansfield, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Members attend for free, and guests are welcome for $10.00 per meeting, which can be applied toward membership dues when joining by the subsequent meeting. All women in business are welcome to join our meetings for a nominal fee, or to attend as a member. WBN November 8th Meeting - be ready

The format for November’s meeting will be one-on-one introductions, instead of the normal 30 second introductions. Members will choose another member’s name from a hat, have an informational “interview” and each will introduce the other. This was a great success last year.

Seizing Your Seconds Workshop - October 25, 2011 - was a success!

Erica Ricci delivered an informative and insightful workshop to a group of 32 WBN members and guests in October.  She shared her knowledge and expertise in communication, of which we are truely greatful. 

The workshop,"Seizing your Seconds" tautgh us the tips and tools needed to stay focused, stay confident, stay in control of our presentations when every second counts.

ERICA RICCI BIO: Erica Ricci is a communication specialist and distinguished journalist. She’s held several positions in the television news industry in southern New England since 2002. Currently, she’s a general assignment reporter for FOX25 in Boston, but has also worked at WLNE and WJAR in Providence and at a cable news station in southeastern Massachusetts.

As a reporter, Erica has perfected the art of telling any story in a minute-and-a-half. She’s learned how to pull out the most important details and present them in a compelling, concise way that grabs her audience’s attention. Erica has also developed communication techniques to make people comfortable enough to share their story and convince them their story is worth telling.

Erica is a native New Englander, growing up in Rhode Island where she lives now with her family. Erica has her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Find out more about Erica on her website: www.ericaricci.com
